Zambia is not only home to the awe-inspiring Victoria falls but also developed a reputation for being a centre of peace and political stability, especially compared to some of its neighbouring countries. It recently completed several successful political reforms, e.g. the privatization of its mining sector and the re-modeling of its electricity pricing. Zambia experienced tremendous growth in its mining sector in recent years and is Africa`s biggest copper producer with 715,000 tons (4.5% of world output).
