The East African country Tanzania is one of the most politically stable nations of Sub-Saharan Africa and famous for its popular travel destination Zanzibar. It has sustained high economic growth over the last decade. This was mainly driven by structural reforms and growth in the financial and communications sectors, for instance through the increased use of mobile phones. Over the next five years GDP in Tanzania is expected to grow by more than 50%.
