MicrofinanceMicrofinance

Generally, banks do not provide financial services to clients with little income due to margin pressure and lack of collateral. As a result, the majority of the population in developing countries has no access to loans or is forced to borrow from local moneylenders who generally charge very high interest rates.

To boost entrepreneurial initiatives and enable people to improve their situation through their own efforts rather than relying on external aid, the microfinance project aims at providing loan and deposit services to low-income clients. The focus of our Microfinance activities is at the moment Burkina Faso.
